Default Using My Business Name/structure For A Friend

Hello
I need some help and i hope someone will be able to assist

Ok, I have an online business and the structure is a LLC. The business is an online employment portal

I have a friend who would like to open her own private practice ( providing therapy) and would like to use my business name, and ID to open up this practice.

First I would like to know whether it is legal to do this and if so what steps do i need to take to make it happen.

Thanks in advance

I am not an attorney but I think what you might be contemplating is very dangerous!

Just for openers, let's say that whatever therapy your friend performs harms a patient. Your company is liable.

Let's say your friend accepts Medicare patients and Medicare has problems with the way your friend is billing. Your company is liable.

Let's say due to her income the company owes more in income taxes. Your company is liable.

Let's say she doesn't pay any bill. Your company is liable.

I can go on and on. You have not told us why she cannot set up her own corporation with her own Tax ID.

I wouldn't go near this situation with a 100 foot pole. This is scary to me

However, once again, I am not an attorney.

Ditto cfoservices

I too am NOT an attorney... but I don't care WHAT they say, even if they ENCOURAGE you to do it (and I don't think any one of them in their right mind would) I WOULD RUN! DON'T EVEN THINK ABOUT IT. NO! and NO mean NO!! No how! No way! No Chance!

By the way... was I clear?? NO!
