If you don't really have time to search more many articles/videos to post for various social networks, then, you can update them all with the same post. And also, if the updates will be about the company's latest products or services, it would be ideal to have the same update on them all. But if articles search from the web, I guess, it would be better to post different updates.

Here are some pointers regarding the effective use of Google+
When youíre making your business profile:
*Donít miss the chance include your business keywords in your tagline and introduction. *Google gives you the opportunity to include all your other social site links. Use it. *Include your website, and location (particularly if you have a bricks and mortar store).

One advantage of Google+ is that the pages might rank more favourably on google search engine, compared to facebook pages. It would be good to regularly update all your social media pages, even if using the same content.

DennisChang, do you see any downside to posting the same content on all social media or do you think it's an acceptable practice?

I think as long as your content is good and originated from you, you are free to post it on multiple social media pages that belong to you.

Thanks for the tip - do you suggest using a business page for contributing to the community and building G+ or do you think it is better to use your personal page that is already linked to your business?
