Default Looking For Inexpensive Business E-mail...

We need to find a simple and easy service that will let us click one button and be instantly able to save a new contact and let us categorize it there. Like old-school Hotmail did. We want to be able to send many emails at once without it going into the spam folder. Being able to set up scheduled e-mails & auto delivery is a must. We don't care if this is a paid service. We also want a way for people to sign up for the newsletter or what have you & we can send it out TO SUBSCRIBERS en masse. (Not spamming- only subscribers would get such mailings.) We need a very easy program as we are very non-techy.

ListServ, MailChimp, Constant Contact, CampaignMonitor have all been suggested. I've been messing around in the free MailChimp for a few days before I realized that does not include AutoResponding. What suggestions do you all have? Thanks for any help.

Our budget is $10/mo max. Though we were at first hoping to find something free. However, we realize that may not be possible.

How big is your list? How often are you emailing?

Also, what do you mean by autoresponding? I thought MailChimp has an autoresponder system that you can use - even on their free account. It should allow you to setup a series of emails to send to a new subscriber, at a given interval.

I did the same thing - messed around with MailChimp & then realized free version doesn't have an autoresponder.

My personal pick is VerticalResponse because they are packed with features and are one of the few email services that offer pay as you go. If you have a smaller list and do not email frequently it can be MUCH cheaper (like around 1-2 cents per email sent).

Free trials are always the way to go to ck them out - especially with email services. I've done trials of pretty much all of them at some point!

There's a list of some of the top ones and basic features on my site here:

We use madmimi. Perhaps that might work for your needs.

Have you tried to use Zoho? I think they have a free tier...

I've used Aweber for a long time. In 6 years only 1 time it did not deliver on time - Just once!

my two cents anyways :-)

Try DotMailer, I'm sure you'll actually be very satisfied. I'm using it at Inbox Income and it's great. For anything related to other email marketing issues, do not hesitate in contacting me on the website I just mentioned: inboxincome.co.uk.

All the best!

I stand by aweber as well.

What is cool is that you can do broadcasts, but you can also automate messages.

I have never had any problems with it!

Has anyone tried setting up an rss email with Mailchimp that updates with each new blog post? Mine doesn't look the way I thought it would.
