Well, that is a bit of a problem, then.

What exactly do you mean by the term "industrial business"? Are you talking about a manufacturing facility? Those are usually quite expensive -- not the kind of thing you want to just jump into on a whim.

Do you have experience setting up this type of business? If so, what sort of businesses have you already done? It might be a good idea to try to build off of your experience. If not, what about the business makes you think it would be a good idea? What sort of businesses have inspired you to make this your goal?

How about setting up a business that provides industrial supplies. For example, supplying industrial businesses with equipment - an example might be cnc routers. Or for woodworking businesses supplying a line of sandpaper and cutting tools.

Your statement is very broad. It may mean you want to supply materials, or you manufacture. Lots actually but you first have to choose one.

Hi Sejul. I am looking for an industrial product too or one that can be sold to businesses or retailers. WD-40 does not manufacture anything (or at least did not 10 years ago) though one would at first think they must have a large chemical manufacturing plant. You can always start selling a product and then if your sales reach a certain volume, bring the manufacturing in-house like I did with computer cleaning diskettes for floppy disk drives. Then the headaches will begin but your business sense and acumen will generally be greater than you ever imagined. However, other companies will come to you as the source for new products so you will be the first and will be able to apply for patents, thereby being the first with generally greater margins. There are a number of other caveats to be concerned about but let's not get ahead of ourselves here. Find a product that you absolutely love and market the heck out of it. Be extremely creative and if you have a competitor, outthink, outplay and outlast them. Good luck. Now, do you have any new ideas for me??? Thanks, Stan
