(you may wanna check out some of it) plus blogs - these are all legitimate Social B2B channels and each of them allow you to engage B2B in a different way. They have all been successful for all sorts of organizations.
But I'll have to say that it still pays to look at your organization, who your customers are and which of these environments they use (ASK THEM) and "fish where the fish" are. Understanding what people do and where and getting into the mind set that the internet [social media] is part of peoples lives is an important thing.
I haven't tried using social bookmarkings yet, might as well give it a shot one of these days.
