Selling can never be easy......
But it depends also on your product of what you are selling. Nobody likes spending money on things which are of no use.
A customer will go after a product if he needs it, if he does not require that particular thing he will never be interested even in speaking to you

Oh, I dunno. I can't think of a single person who actually required a Pet Rock, and near as I can tell, their actual uses were fairly limited (at best). But they sure sold like gangbusters.

It's not so much what people really need, as it is what they want.

Your job as a marketer and as a sales person is to present the benefits of the product and the terms of the offer in such a way that the prospect really, really wants it.

Also, there are really no secrets because if an idea is so unique, nobody could use it unless in the same place, same time situation.

FYI

You have received some decent answers to a vague question that does not lend to what you are trying to ask.

Please help us by sharing what you are triyng to sell because the answer to how to sell candy bars is quite different than how to sell jets.

Default Depends upon the definition of 'Easy'

The easiest way is to hire someone competent to take care of the whole thing for you, or hire someone to teach you how. That's pretty easy but it's also expensive.

If you are starting at ground zero knowledge-wise and you have little money then you are going to have to educate yourself. You should educate yourself on TWO subjects: Marketing and Sales - they are two different things.

For marketing there is a lot of good material out there. Seth Godin's blog and books are a great starting point.

There are a number of recognized sales training programs - like Sandler and Hopkins - that you can attend. Google 'Sales' and 'Sales Training' and you'll uncover lots of good resources.

Good old fashion sales work, cold calling, permission email, fax, follow up.

How does your product-service increase your clients bottom line.

Dude,

First, clarify your question. If you expect a good answer, you need to ask a good question.

That said, the first three answers were on the dot.

Sell something to somebody what they are looking for at the right place at the right time; and sales will be the easiest!

The best way to increase sales is to see that whatever you are selling, do the people really need them or not???
