Default It's What You Say AND How You Say It

Diane Aull (aka Torka), has a new post up today you'll want to check out...

It's What You Say AND How You Say It
Snippet:
"
Are you and your customers speaking the same language? Here's how your choice of words in your web copy can affect your website's perceived relevance, and (ultimately) your sales."

So, are you speaking your customers' language on your site?

Diane,

Good story. I would add that a large part of what someone says is "visual." Often the flash or other graphics on the webpage are distracting or counterproductive. I have exited more than one website because the graphics got in the way of my understanding the written message or because the site was too slow to load. Photos that depict images not consistent with the message or the site lose me quickly also.

Steve
